Terms of Service
Effective date: 15 January 2025 · Governed by the laws of England and Wales.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using BuiltPC.co.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable UK legislation. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Editorial Advice & PC Assembly Disclaimer
The hardware recommendations, PC build configurations, component compatibility assessments, and tutorials provided on Built PC are for educational and informational purposes only.
While our engineers rigorously test and verify component specifications, computer assembly involves delicate electronic parts, high-power electrical circuits, and electrostatic sensitivity. You are solely responsible for taking appropriate safety precautions during assembly (including discharging static, ensuring correct cable orientation, and verifying manufacturer clearance). Built PC accepts no liability for physical damage, component failure, or personal injury resulting from PC assembly.
3. Third-Party Pricing & Stock Availability
We do not sell computer hardware directly. All purchases are fulfilled by third-party retailers such as Amazon.co.uk. Product prices, delivery terms, return policies, and stock availability change dynamically and are governed strictly by the retailer's terms of sale. Always verify current prices and seller reputations on Amazon prior to completing an order.
4. Intellectual Property
All original editorial content, articles, custom PC build configurations, design tokens, illustrations, and code on Built PC are the intellectual property of Built PC Media Group UK and protected under international copyright law. Unauthorised scraping, reproduction, or republication is strictly prohibited.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
